feels nice with Ayn!  .. ni yang nyesal my old custom DC Neo nih! ... Ayn is currently around 9 month 2 week gitu. Aku tak sure yang PTDC ni size ape.. PTDC ade 2 size.. tapi beza seinci je heightnye pon... Neo straps means curved straps best for back carry.. amazingly feels good for front carry....


one of the chest strap is missing so ni without chest strap... good feel, tak terasa nak slip off my shoulder..

inside, I didnt have any terry cloth so I just used 1 layers of cloth nappy.. (gauze type tu)

soo reminiscence of beetlebum due to the narrow set shoulder straps...
instead of   \_/   .. its kinda like |_|   .. more or less...
straps wont fall of your shoulder feeling.. but i still wear chest straps... coz dah biasa..
sempit area around kepala/leher baby... but i think im starting to like it that way... cam more support je...

the waist is single adjust strap.. i hate that ... dont like it when one side is longer than the other
but im wearing the lowest setting.. so it is all symmetrical.. so it doesnt matter lol...
seb baik mak ramping huahuaaa *muntah*

the fabric is really light..  i do prefer heavier/sturdier fabric..
but this should be ideal for 1-2 hour shopping mall trips...
easy to bring sana sini.. very light...

actually syaz gave this to me to try...
but bila pakai.. i luv it so much... i just said to her i'm buying this one..
(i do need another SSC due to DH doesnt have his.. i sold his KP..
and when he uses my beetlebum, settings all messed up.. urgh)


syaz did say this is the older type waist padding... softer a bit...
newer ones will be firmer... due to someone yg berjaya wear wrongly and terpatah waist pad tu lol..
so I had to buy this old one hahaha.. coz if I buy new, I wont be getting this waist pad yg best..
(maybe the new ones best gak or even better.. i dunno... but im in love with this waist)..


and I do love the embroidery and the print fabric.. simple and brand-y.....

Bila “dia” sampai.. mungkin aku dah kurang excited nak tulis blog pepanjang…

Have loved the Petite Toddler Dream Carrier (PTDC) Neo SSC
Neo means, curved shoulder straps meant for comfy back carry…
Tapi petite means the carrier is meant for petite toddlers..
For me and amir, this means maybe for amir when he 1-2 years old…
I had to try la the PT size..
coz when I decided to try DC…there was no DC in Malaysia yet…

Verdict:
construction-wise the seat darts wasn’t deep enough… and body panel wasn’t high enough…Wearing wise, quite comfy.. love the neo straps.. If worn long hours, terasa jugak la at the shoulders…

Anyways… so decided to look out for a custom DC slot.. (here)
Usually DC akan announce bila die akan jual custom slow…
Contohnye 3 sept, 11:00 am EST…
So tepat2 kul 11:00 am EST dah available nak beli la kat cart online tu..
Tapi by 11:00:02 dah soldout .. kah kah…
so Malaysian internet don’t really stand a chance..

Kadang2.. die akan buat surprised slot…
Meaning, die akan letak satu slot for sale… tapi die tak bagitau org..
So sape yg kebetulan surf that page, boleh aa beli…

Anyways… this one sweet day…
Tetiba aku dpt ilham nak decide to stalk for the surprised slot…
Sebab fikir cam tak logic je nak kejar the scheduled slot…
So aku pon bookmark that page on my safari on iphone…
So bebila aku free… check facebook, mbw, fsot.. aku include skali la that DC page..


Anyways, the next day.. while nursing amir on the bed… went to that page on iphone…
Sekali tu nampak custom slot marked as available…konfius jap aku..
So aku bace description die.. is it really custom slot.. and boleh buat SSC ke tak.. (sometimes ade slot for buckle tais only)
Lepas aku dah make sure.. terus aku cabut and campak amir…. And melompat ke PC…
Lepak je membeli.. no real pressure ahhaah….


Anyways.. after everything, Andrea (the maker) sent and email…
gitau how to make a custom DC…options..
She is soo organize… I like it… no dramas, no fuss, no issues, no emos…
Bayar downpayment USD50.. balance later.. so ala-ala instalment jek haahah


The way to create custom.. pilih all settings..
and send andrea all the fabric yang u want…
shoulder & waist straps pun boleh send..
tapi die ade 2 kaler instock (jalapeno and black brushed canvas)
Some people yg hardcore2 gitu.. akan pilih fabric shoulder/waist ni gak.. nak paling lembut/sturdy/ringan and nak kaler matching2… cord/denim yg paling hangat
Aku malas nak fikir.. so hitam jelah dari Andrea punye instock… sure match ngn all my black shirts hahah…
Body panel pulak… I have a few fabrics yg memang dah lama I’ve sent to my sister..
Fabrics that I fancy… so nak kena pilih satu….
Bukan senang nak dapat slow buat custom carrier…
antara elements2 yg aku kalau boleh mahu dalam custom carrier aku are:

1. ade motif2 jepun.
2. ade tulisan jepun
3. ade sakura
4. kaler merah
5. ade kain solarveil
6. nak hoodie hood

so kain yang aku pilih ni memang la sungguh memenuhi syarat…
hahaha… semua features crammed in 1 fabric lol… tamak betul


tunggu punye tunggu.. after 5 weeks of waiting…. Siap pun!!..
(skip plot, aku dah takde mood nak bercerita hahaha)
anyways si Andrea ni mmg jenis reveal semua yg dijahit kat facebook die..
so, aku nak berahsia2 pon tak guna…
sape2 yg follow DC punye page boleh tengok… potong stim tul…
now kena tunggu utk dipos ke adik aku.. then ke mesia…



simple jek.. and tak pecah kepala decide… didn’t consult anyone on choices…
takde mintak org vote2, takde over2 nak print2 matching2 kan fabric tgk outcome..
so disebabkan decision main tibai je, takut je turned out huduh…
but it turn out better than I imagined… happy with that.. simple..
bende yg aku pecah kepala decide.. was the hood..
should I go hoodie, patterned inside out? Flathood yg align? Hoodie with black SV inside? Should I get appliqué inside the hood?
Cam bangang je hahahah .. pening customizing hoods…
what can I say.. I love hoods! Anyways I got 2 hoods..
But this carrier, I think hoodless lawa.. bila amir tido baru snap on hood… love the snaps! Aku tak suka stuffable hoods.
The only thing I regret … maybe I don’t need pockets…


and aku sangat2 love the black haired girl…
sebabnye dulu aku perasan aku ni Rei Hino… (kenal ke? Hahah)
aku suka die sebab rambut die hitam and panjang and outfit die merah..
ku kumpul sticker2 Rei dalam album… esok aku snap pics album tu kat umah mak aku hahaha

I am in love with the KP SV.... patten not so much.. but the SV is yummilicious!

But I havent found the sweet spot yet... nak kena adjust2 lagi kot..
But it it works out.... I understand why people are soo gaga about Kinderpack... !

but now there's some adjustment to be done here and there... so later baru boleh review..
