yesterday, I bought a baby carrier/sling that left me broke ... kat tengah middle of nowhere in langkawi pon aku masih boleh ilang duit beli sling... *daymnn*


tapi aku masih belum insaf, if ade lagi, aku nak beli lagi .... hopefully I dont find anything I fancy (sling/dolls/etc) in the next month.... if ade, TERPAKSA aku cuba beli gak.... in babywearing or waldorf doll world, usually LE/OOAK things are available for literally seconds (saat!!) only... so if fikir lelama, melepas and nyesal berpanjangan.... beli dulu, if tak suka jual... hahaha (racunnnn)....


justification aku, aku takde stash ... so if 1-2 things yg aku beli is kinda "mahal"... not that bad... hahahha.... and it is nowhere near the price of a Pamir or Rosie or other wraps... sooo it cant really be categorized as "expensive" hahahah... soo, kira okay la purchase ni hahahha (justify justify!!)..... alsooo, these things have resell value, you can recoup your losses... (all $$ or
most of it, depending on the item)

I have always loved wrapping...
it's my first ever babywearing gear what....
tapi masa tu takde a lot of peracun and orang2 yg nak educate on woven wraps etc...
so lambat discover different variety of wraps....
also was kinda hard to do when your kid dah nak start jalan..
and amir start walking at 9 months... so memang takleh duduk diam..
kejap2 nak keluar dari carrier.... so wrap memang sangat tak practical...
sebab takes time nak wrap (utk novice cam aku nihs)....

anyways... next baby aku dah bersedia ngn wrap2...
nak wrap seawal yang buleh... ramai peracun kat forum...

first wrap aku beli is a didy 55% linen azur....beli naked...

Bila cerita pasal ipad… I am pro ipad for learning and enjoying learning…
Tapi ade yang komplen pasal diorang asik main game je memanjang on ipad…
Sometimes aku heran apsal parents complain their toddlers (2-4 years old) main game lama on ipad…
Kalau budak 5-6 tahun tu, logic aa gak.. tapi still requires password nak install games on ipad..
Bukan ke senang je nak control content on ipad tu….?
The best way is to not to introduce the game in the first place…
And if kalau tak suka, delete aa game tu….
I don’t get it… oh well….
Older kids, paham aa gaks kesusahan nak control…

Cam amir ade satu game tu… mickey’s dance ape tah….
Cam takde benefit je game tu…. Lagu and tengok mickey nari…
Amir suka sebab die suka lagi mickey tu…. After a few thousand loops…
And aku tak nampak ape benefit game tu… aku delete je terus…
Memula tercarik2 aa gak.. and rengek mau…. Tapi buat pekak jek…
Then die move on…. Byk lagi mende lain die suka on the ipad…


Semua apps dalam ipad tu adelah leaning games and learning cartoons…
Aku pon takde la rase guilty sgt if amir main ipad… sebab contents are beneficial…
But aku always make time to take him out to the real world….
Playgrounds… playzone… etc…etc…
If cam lama sangat mengadap… aku timeoutkan ipad….
And die main kereta, basical and truck die.. and legos..

Birth timeline - Amir

Mari cerita labor timeline…. Simple saja… timing approximation … takleh nak ingat exactly larr… 3 tahun lepas maaa….

Isnin 16 June 2008 – 7 am aku dah bangun, aku dok rumah je, main internet, lepak2 tengok TV….

9.00 pm – Rafiq dah tido… start feeling contractions every 40 mins… so start packing2…

11.30 – masih malas nak kejut laki aku…. Tak guna pon kalau kejut…. Sakit aa contractions .. berpeluh2…. 3-4 kali gak aku mandi…. Dr kata datang hospital bila contractions every 5 mins.. air pecah or bloodyshow.. so far nothing to warrant hospital visit…

Selasa 17 June 2008 , 2 am –- contraction belum 5 mins apart… so terseksa… cannot sleep … bila contraction guling atas katil… bila panas and berpeluh, mandi

5 am – contractions every 6 minits… aku dah tak tahan…. Kejut Rafiq…. Say its time…. (walaupun tak i.e belum 5 mins apart).. gi SJMC, masuk labor room… strapped up.. dah dilate 3 cm (ke inci? cm kot)

6 am – opted for happydural….. tak larat aa contractions…. Tapi nak cucuk happyydural at the spine tu pon satu isu… I takut jarum.. and nak cucuk spine lak tu.. and every 5 mins, ko akan contractions, soo takleh stay still punye untuk dicucuk… tapi akhirnye berjaya… bliss….. boleh main game, tido kejap (tak selesa sebab paralyzed waist down), borak…

9 am – check2 bukaan. Water broke… masih 3-4 cm…..

5 pm – baru 6 cm… doc kata if takde progress bukaan, maybe ceaser….

7.40 pm – lahir…


Banyak gak aku skip… i.e happydural habis seblah badan, can feel contractions on the left side only… 2nd top up of happydural, then takleh nak push… so vacuum… jahit…. Keluarkan uri… muntah… etc..

Point yang aku nak utarakan disini…. > 36 jam aku tak tido hokay …… makan or minum pon takleh….. mane larat nak push…. Baby lahir, pun aku takde nafsu, okay whatever.. gi la nursery.. aku nak tido… tapi sjmc push him on me sebab breastfeeding… garang betul SJMC ni… mak letih la nokkk…..

Point lagi satu aku nak utara kan.. if aku tak amek happydural.. selama >20 jam la aku menahan contractractions… HAPPYDURAL IS SO AWESOME! I am a loyal customer ! harap2 next labor, sempat amek…. Aku takut tak sempat je nak happydural

Lets talk dolls… waldorf dolls…

Anyways.. makin lama ko tatap dolls nih.. makin hooked you get and makin cute they become….
Anyways I was hooked….
Masalahnye… SUSAH GILE MAU BELI…..!

The 2 big names aaa… Bamboletta dolls (ni paling payah).. lets call them Bambo
And also Dragonfly’s Hollow….. Lets call thm DFH

Style die… everyweek they make like 15-30 dolls…
Depends aa… DFH makes around 15 dolls per week..
Bambo dah makin berkembang, last time I saw was around 40+ dolls…
And they bagitau in advance, what date and what time…. Dolls akan dijual di online-shop diorang…
Or ….they call it “Doll Upload” ….
So in Malaysia…. Expect the upload to be at 8 am pagi… or even 4 am pagi….
Who knows… Once a month or so…. Both ade buat “Newbie Upload”
Meaning hanye orang orang yg tak pernah beli doll Bambo/DFH (respectively) ni aje boleh beli on that particular upload.
Sometimes ade “International Upload” meaning nonUS/Canadian mamas jer boleh beli the dolls on that particular upload…
Usually the times for International Upload are more asian/Australia friendly….


Anyways… both Bambo and DFH communicate regularly on facebook..
Kat facebook la diorang announce upload date and times.. sometimes that can change at the very last second.. so check frequently for changes..


For DFH, they post pics of each/all the dolls yang will be available for sale that week… usually 2 days ahead of upload day..so that ppl know which diorang nak beli..
DFH currently jual through etsy (previously on etsy, then their own e-shops, then bigcartel now etsy again)
For Bambo, I don’t think so…maybe a group preview picture jela kot…
Bambo sells via Bigcartel.


So on the upload day…. at the upload times… 15 mins before..
Ready2 jelah ape yang patut.. credit card info, tutup semua program lain on PC supaya laju… highlight and copy password paypal.. so that no need to type in…
Refer to official times as per… xxxxx
Bila tinggal 10 saat lagi.. start refreshing…..
Sometimes the website crash….. and bila berjaya load 20 seconds later… everything already sold out hahahaha…


Bigcartel ni (Bambo)… style die… ko refresh nampak aa semua 40+ dolls.
Usually ppl just click on one .. (takde masa nak decide, cun ke tak ke ape)..
and hope doll tu still available utk dicart kan..
bila ko dah select doll and select shipping country…
doll tu is held hostage dlm that buyer punye cart.. (cart-ed)
Sampai la buyer tu isi semua paypal info etc etc……
So ko boleh take time nak isi semua particulars
(but aku tak pernah made it past select country… aku nak scroll down select Malaysia, doll tu dah masuk cart org)

Anyways, at the main website… doll tu akan still shown as available selagi buyer yg tgh nak beli tu blum habis checkout…
Available tapi ko takleh nak select…. So quite annoying…. 10 minits kot baru doll tu direlease….
Sometimes the doll masuk 2-3 cart, one after another without anybody paying for it…..
So those dolls akan jadik “Serendipity dolls”…. Later aku explain…
Anyways…. Punye la susah nak beli… u either crash … tak berjaya load website..
If berjaya load pon.. tak berjaya cart…. Sakit jantung…


DFH… masa die guna bigcartel.. pon sama…
Cuma default country die is US… so aku takyah scroll carik mesia…
