Happy Mother's day to me!! (in case I forgot later)





I slept as late as I wanted and never worried about how late I got into bed. I brushed my hair and my teeth everyday.

I cleaned my house each day. I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby. I didn't worry whether or not my waters were poisonous. I never thought about immunizations.
-
I had never been puked on - Pooped on - Spit on - Chewed on, or Pee-ed on. I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts. I slept all night.

I never held down a screaming child so that doctors could do tests...or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.

I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put it down. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much. I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a Mom.

I didn’t know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby. I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child. I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important.

I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay. I had never known The warmth, The joy, The love, The heartache, The wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom. I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much before I was a Mom.

Another weekend update...

I am making the effort to cook....inspired by Hanim's blog..

Pancake - Amir's version... with EBM, no salt, less sugar..
Also adult version with low fat milk, less salt...more sugar (tapi rafiq kata still no rase)... yg peanut butter, marjerin, honey ni semua utk aku and rafiq..




pasta with egg yolk (masa ni got no meat to cook in fridge, tak buat groceries lagi).. egg yolk from boiled egg... amir hates the spiral pasta... cooked using spray olive oil.. and also first time I put shallot... I fry the shallot.. but then I take it out ... just nak bagi rase savory in the oil... also dash of blackpepper..




pasta with salmon (no in pic)... seriusly, salmon smells.. I cannot stand... im not cooking that anymore... gave the salmon to my MIL to cook for amir.. but amir like fish.. hates the spiral pasta


bread and cheese, no pic.... low fat and normal chedder both he loves... no allergies I think.. its my backup meal when he dont want what I cooked (i.e pasta)


pan fried dory...guling dalam egg yolk, add a dash of blackpepper and roll-in flour biasa.. fried with olive oil .. he likes this...

I ran out of space on my camera... hahahahah

yang aku risau skang, he's not used to wearing socks/shoes..
bila kuar usually kaki ayam je...
so bila dipakaikan kasut/socks, mesti die nak bukak jer....
anyways..... asik berjalan je kesana sini skang dalam rumah..
bagus, sila lah exericse..

1. Ada 3 parts .. ini yg aku malas gile nak pasang and cuci each time..

2. All done... Usually I can get full bottle (till the neck).. 10 oz aa..
Now is the week before period, this is the time where susu dipping low..
but previous before using freestyle, when my susu was low, I only got 3-4 oz...
so for me, this is awesome...

to conclude: Freestyle memang efficient in getting milk out (emptying breast).. tapi disebabkan leceh nak pasang corong/valves semua... aku jadik malas sket nak pam... so aku pump every 5 hours... dulu with spectra zaman terdesak aku pam every 3 hours.... so frozen stock aku tak banyak.. but I am able to produce extra milk to freese... it is increasing but slowly... tapi yg penting is that my milk is not decreasing sampai aku terpaksa "guna" the frozen stock....


my current fresh and frozen stock shown below... (I started from zero 2 month ago when I got my freestyle.. at the end of february my frozen stock was zeroo!! I was on a downward direction.. now dah naik balik, so all these are from freestyle within these 2 months dengan aku yg malas nak pump.. also I am still only giving breastmilk to amir... not supplemented with formula at all.... so nasib baik berbaloi gak aku beli freestyle medela ni.. )

Weekend in a nutshell....

again, weekend yg takde stroller....
lupa nak bawak stroller balik umah...
letih aku pakai handbag 10 kilos nih...


- Gi carrefour buat groceries
- Amir suka tengok tom tom bak... uncle aznil funny

Sabtu... aku gi gak lagi skali sale metrojaya... ngn sesak2 tu, amir tido pulak.. cehs! aku nak bagi die jaga, supaya die tido kat umah, so aku leh tido skali..

.

Ahad gi tesco/curve/ikea... penat la tido putrajaya the night before, I hate beds that arent mine... sakit blakang.. tido tak nyenyak... I only love my bed!!! so tak larat sgt nak babywear, so guna trolley.... gi tesco coz huggies L takde kat carrefour malam jumaat tu.. dulu kitorang boikot huggies... beli pampers, tapi naik rash.. so aku beli gak la huggies hahah... (well, dulu boikot gak carrefour... weekend ni first time officially gi carrefour balik).. well, best gak baby seat tesco nih... huggies dry ni pakai during weekdays time aku gi keje..

pastu nak try makan kat Vivo curve.. lama aku teringin nak try.. but tak sedap pun.. lasagna dominoes lagi sedap... hmmph!!!... amir cranky here...

ni budak sebok.. aku minum air, die pun nak isap straw gak... bukan reti isap pon... poser je lebeh.... anyways, bought new glasses... nak beli heavy duty glass supaya tak senang dilanyak oleh amir... a bit big for my face.. ooh well.... bila la aku nak boleh pakai lense balik.... dr. kata allergic... hmmm

aku pun tatau nak jawab camne..
there's no special date.. or moment...
coz he can speak..mama dada ...
(doesnt make any sense to me though...)
and he can walk 3-4 steps....
but does that count as walking?

well nows that confirm boleh berjalan lebeh dari 10 tapak..
and mahu berjalan bila sua tangan.. and boleh bangun dari posisi duduk ke berdiri..
so bila org tanye.. die dah boleh jalan..??
im officially saying yes he can walk..
(tapi paham2la... tak stabil and bape tapak je... so still cannot walk kalau gi memana)...


dalam video ni, amir sebok nak tengok TV...
he can do better.. but time die jalan jauh2 sket.. aku tak sempat nak rakam...


mak aku cakap aku bleh jalan umur 9 bulan...
and amir ni kira lambat jalan...
tapi then there's my chunky sister...
tak nak budge and crawl.. and suddenly at 14 months starts to walk hahahah..

bebila pun... fine....
yang penting kena blaja turun tangga without injuring himself...
umah ku ni banyak tangga....
