the night before aku diserang sakit gigi yg teramat... so i came with my baju tido and muka tido... u guys were lucky aku considerate enough to wear a bra underneath.. i contemplated just going as I did waking up.. tp sbb baju jarang, aku gagahkan pakai gakss...

snuggbaby - waist and shoulder straps are really comfy! the body tu standard size, so tak sesuai for amir yg toddler 3 years old... seriusly considering a custom.. maybe purple ume fabric... but need to see new baby camne... chubby like amir ke ape.. if so, kena ade seat dart...

last 17th July MBW ade gathering.. tapi buat picnic style... saje santai seblum puasa...

lokasi nye best ade shallow stream and playground... amir penakut nak dok dalam .. and he's more of a water player than sand player... gi beach tak penah lagi kitoranf main sandcastle.... to him, why bother with sand when u have water and waves....

off topic... masa kat langkawi, main beach n ombak.. ombak tinggi (xla tinggi tapi tinggi dari amir).. so setiap kali ombak aky cakap .. "ohmygod"... now he thinks ombak is "ohmigod"... iskk

anyways ... potluck piknik... amir pon excited... sebut "picnic.. picnic"... recognize picnic setting dari katun wordworld ... aku potluck, bawah biodegradable trash bag jek... muaahahaaaa .. food was awesome..

subtopic: Wrap conversion.

So firstly, kena define wrap....
woven wrap to be precise ..woven means wrap yg tak elastic...
wrap ni just sehelai kain panjang....
can be 2.5 meters to 7 meters...
depends on ape ko nak buat ngn wrap and size badan ko..
for me, I would do 4.5 meters untuk longest carry requirement (banyak nak lilit)...
or people use 2.7 meters for rebozo carry (ikat cam kain batik lepas, 1 shoulder carry)

wrap ni kain yang ditenun khas untuk carry babies...
ade banyak jenis... ade linen, cotton, silk, hemp, wool...
ade campuran 50%linen and 50% cotton.. 40% linen... 30% silk.. etc
the possibilities are endless..

also cara tenunan pon berbeza....
pattern aa .. diamond weave... indio weave etc
membuatkan perasaan pemakai rase berbeza...
so far yang aku tau ramai yang menyimpan and mencari Vatanai - pamir..

There’s a Czech company, Vatanai, that makes a particular wrap (Pamir) that is handwoven by one elderly woman (every one ever created was woven by this one artist) on one very old loom. Because this is the only way these particular wraps come to be, they are very, very limited, and the runs are not regular because if she is unable to weave for any amount of time (injury, illness, etc), production stops (Pamir is currently out of production). There is quite a bit of buzz about the magical wrapping qualities of Pamir in the babywearing community, and therefore these wraps are understandably a bit hard to come by and the prices are rather higher than retail. There is only one vendor in the United States that carries Vatanai. Didymos ni pulak kompeni german yang buat baby wrap.. suka buat limited edition wrap....

One of the Fall 2008 wool wrap releases from Didymos, a German manufacturer of wraps (or Tragetuecher), has become very popular and sought after for both the purported wrapping qualities and the color combination. It is now fetching 2-4 times the retail price. Didymos also wove a few 50% silk blend wraps. Their 50% silk indio was much more limited than their 30% silk indio (both LEs) and while the 30% blend regularly brings about $200 in resale, one of the 50% blends was just sold at auction and got $2,000!

So you see, wraps yang limited edition memang sangat MAHAL NAK MATI !

sebab Girasol ni sangat sesuai nak buat conversion...
aku suka girasol wrap especially Rainbow wraps sebab ianya sangat colorful !!

now just some random photos...

we tried Homst shah alam on saturday night... I tot it was good... definately comparable to Muhibbah... and pricess cheaper here... the sirap limau is TDF, sedap sial!

and the sotong goreng tepung was tasteless on its own... tak masin... memula nyesal kejap sebab order medium... but lepas cicah ngn sos die, baru terangkat! layan gile....

anyways I thought everything was good.. but stress coz szehuan soup banyak gile and xdapat abis 2 people, shouldda just had the tofu punye kuah as kuah.. btw, tofunye dish die also had ayam... so rafiq kata ginger chicken xyah order next time... rafiq tak makan chicken dish tu, just me... hahaha 2 people sket sgt makan nak perabih macam2 dish...solution: kena bawak ramai org..



we took firefly to langkawi on standby tickets.. sebab we were already on standby MAS and 2-3 hari sebelum departure dah penub... berdebar gak aku naik
propellar aircraft ni... but take off was smooth... climbing ade sket ala2 dutch roll.. descent was ear popping.... refer below
