Salam dan Selamat Sejahtera,

Saya sangat sedih. Sejak akhir-akhir ini Premaxx Baby Bag slingsudah masuk ke dalam pasaran Malaysia dan semakin laris seperti larisnya pisang goreng panas di hari hujan. Kesal kerana saya tahu baby sling seperti ini adalah berisiko jika digunakan. Saya sedar tidak ramai ibu bapa diluar sana tahu tentang aspek keselamatan baby wearing. Sebab itulah, surat ini saya tulis untuk menceritakan bahaya2 yg mungkin boleh terjadi jika baby bag sling ini digunakan terutamanya jika bayi kecil digendong di dalamnya.

Tahukah kawan semua yg beberapa kes telah dilaporkan di Amerika dimana beberapa bayi telah mati ketika digendong di dalam baby bag sling? Sila baca artikel ini: Baby deaths raise concerns about Infantino slings. Disebabkan kes ini jugaklah tema minggu babywearing pada tahun ini adalah "Babywearing Safety: Enjoy The Benefits".

Antara bahayanya:
1- Bayi yang diletakkan di dalam bag sling itu mudah tergelungsur dengan hidung akan press pada badan pemakai menyebabkan bayi sukar untuk bernafas.
2- Disebakan bayi berada paras yg rendah, pemakai sukar untuk mengawasi keadaan bayi.
3- Bentuk seperti bag menyebabkan postur bayi dalam keadaan melengkung menyebabkan saluran pernafasan melengkung dan menyebabkan kesukaran pada bayi untuk bernafas.

either, macarono, fussili or spegetti stir fried... olive oil... no salt... perisa from herbs and ketchup.. and sneak some vege/mushroon yg potong kecik2 sampai takleh nak detect.. aku suka fussili tu sebab pasta made from vegetables

but amir is more of a fish person...

im guessing sbb fish is soft meat... unlike ayam or beef..

8 am sapu sampai, mop, basuh baju, sidai baju..
9 am gi playground...
10 am balik umah ..mandi...
11 am gi rumah nenek... or gi nursery if weekdays.... aku gi gym
1 pm balik rumah lipat baju..


and the rest ikut keadaan...

I would so love one day aku leh bangun lewat....

kali ni only parents aku yg menemani.. sbb parents rafiq ade rombongan berkahwin at terengganu..

maintaining handsfree while babywearing is crucial to a usually single mother like me
macam2 tangan ni nak kena pegang...
nak kena bayar for food while babywearing..
nak korek2 purse... nak carik Jcard, la bonus link la etc..
if handbag biasa, sure akan slip from shoulders...
the only way to achieve that is crossbody handbags!! :D
tapi coach punye handbag crossbody straps die quite short for me.. stress aku..
this MBMJ one is long and perfect length! I love!
the best material would be leather.. easy to clean, doesnt stain (like fabric)

what to carry (amir-wise)
I dont carry anything for amir.. maybe 1 small bottle of drink.. 1 toy, 1 iPod.. and small tupperware of bribefoods (which is marshmallow, for those impossible moments)
but usually beli je air kotak kat kedai..
if terasa cam akan lama sket.. then wipes and 1 pampers..
baju spare, pampers spares everything else ade dalam bakul in the car...
why carry sebakul macam nak berkampung...
just carry what u need to make it back to the car ...
lets admit it.. 95% of the time u dont need whatever crap u have in the diaper bag anyways...
if small babies, then yes the diaper bag is crucial.. but toddlers... dun think so lah..

anyways.. travel light, carry light...

Bila “dia” sampai.. mungkin aku dah kurang excited nak tulis blog pepanjang…

Have loved the Petite Toddler Dream Carrier (PTDC) Neo SSC
Neo means, curved shoulder straps meant for comfy back carry…
Tapi petite means the carrier is meant for petite toddlers..
For me and amir, this means maybe for amir when he 1-2 years old…
I had to try la the PT size..
coz when I decided to try DC…there was no DC in Malaysia yet…

Verdict:
construction-wise the seat darts wasn’t deep enough… and body panel wasn’t high enough…Wearing wise, quite comfy.. love the neo straps.. If worn long hours, terasa jugak la at the shoulders…

Anyways… so decided to look out for a custom DC slot.. (here)
Usually DC akan announce bila die akan jual custom slow…
Contohnye 3 sept, 11:00 am EST…
So tepat2 kul 11:00 am EST dah available nak beli la kat cart online tu..
Tapi by 11:00:02 dah soldout .. kah kah…
so Malaysian internet don’t really stand a chance..

Kadang2.. die akan buat surprised slot…
Meaning, die akan letak satu slot for sale… tapi die tak bagitau org..
So sape yg kebetulan surf that page, boleh aa beli…

Anyways… this one sweet day…
Tetiba aku dpt ilham nak decide to stalk for the surprised slot…

Anyways.. after everything, Andrea (the maker) sent and email…
gitau how to make a custom DC…options..
She is soo organize… I like it… no dramas, no fuss, no issues, no emos…
Bayar downpayment USD50.. balance later.. so ala-ala instalment jek haahah


The way to create custom.. pilih all settings..
and send andrea all the fabric yang u want…
shoulder & waist straps pun boleh send..
tapi die ade 2 kaler instock (jalapeno and black brushed canvas)
Some people yg hardcore2 gitu.. akan pilih fabric shoulder/waist ni gak.. nak paling lembut/sturdy/ringan and nak kaler matching2… cord/denim yg paling hangat
Aku malas nak fikir.. so hitam jelah dari Andrea punye instock… sure match ngn all my black shirts hahah…
Body panel pulak… I have a few fabrics yg memang dah lama I’ve sent to my sister..
Fabrics that I fancy… so nak kena pilih satu….
Bukan senang nak dapat slow buat custom carrier…

anyways ... Sanaa's Original DC WT SSC...
aku tatau aa ni size ape.. but 1-2" less tall than what would be a perfect fit for amir..
masa first2 bukak and tengok... tergasp... waaa suka! the color, the texture...
ellipsen ni cam lain dari ellipsen fazian... ade byk jenis ke ellipsen? cashmere/silk etc?
but this one seems tougher and cam tahan lasak...
so kurang sket takut aku memakainye... pakai O&A tu takut2.. sebab cam senang tertarik wrap die.. and sebab kaler cerah...
anyways, I still berhati2 pakai.. especially with my ring... takut snag kat wrap  material tu..
but it is soo well made... kemas and teliti ... as with all DC I think (omg I love DC)
lepas I pakai tu.. huuu rindu my PT DC Neo.. I think I love straight waist more lah.. (i.e I love DC waist more than my O&A waist)...
I wear quite high on the waist,, tapi amir still not high enough.. maybe coz im tall..
but reallly makes me miss my DC..
the seat dart on this one cam lagi longgar than my ptdc..
tapi masa we compare pah punye ptdc neo and my ptdcneo.. mmg ade beza gile.. waist pon beza 2 inch kot.. banyak tu.. tu yg chikleen bising tu.. apasal rase lain..sedangkan patutnye size sama ...
anyways.. I hate the dual adjust shoulder buckles...   dont see the point...
everything else is perfect ..... style wise, aku suka flat je kat top die.. cam O&A and PT DC... aku tak suka curved headrest style tu.... but itu matter of estetic je...
anyways.. I love it !!! sampai takut nak pegang lelama...tapi aku takut nak bukak cincin, kang hilang.... so it will go to another mama tomorrow...
